This family portrait truly reflected the precarious state of my colorless second marriage. I tried to balance the family and support my daughter as she clung to her step-father while he had his grip on me. The image on the right was projected onto flat tapestry crochet graph paper, then traced. It was tapestry crocheted with a size 5 steel crochet hook and 5 shades of gray linen.
